How to unlock a user

Permissions required: Administrator or HSE Manager

A user will be temporarily locked from their account after a number of unsuccessful login attempts.

They will receive an alert that their account has been locked for 1 hour.

Below are the steps that Administrators and HSE Managers can follow to unlock a user's account:

  1. In the HSE Connect web portal, Select Users & Settings
  2. Select View on the user's profile
  3. Tick Reset Password on Next Login
  4. In the password field, Enter a New Password > Save User

Next, provide the new password to the user. The next time they sign in, they will be prompted to select a new password.
