Why a user would be excluded in Training in the User Report

This article explains the reasons why a user might not appear in the User Report for a training assignment. There are two main scenarios where this can happen:
- The user's Start Date is after the training was created
When a training is created, the system determines the list of eligible users based on their employment details at that time.
- Explanation: If a user’s start date in the system is later than the creation date of the training, they are considered to have joined after the training was assigned.
- Result: They will be excluded from the User Report for that training.
Example:
- Training was created on March 1, 2025.
- The user's start date is March 15, 2025.
- The user will not appear in the report for that training.
- The user’s department is excluded from the Training
Administrators can target or exclude specific departments when assigning training.
- Explanation: If the user belongs to a department that was excluded during training assignment setup, they will not be included.
- Result: Users from excluded departments will not appear in the User Report for that training.
Example:
- Training is assigned to all departments except "Office".
- The user belongs to the "Workshop" department.
- The user will be excluded from the User Report.
If you need further assistance verifying why a specific user is excluded, check:
- Their start date in the user profile.

- The department targeting settings of the training.
